Media Training
"Going into an interview without media training is like going lion hunting without a gun."
Media training provides strategies and techniques that enable participants to:
- Become more effective spokespersons.
- Manage the interview process.
- Seize the opportunity to sell and differentiate their product, service, or position.
Participants benefit from focusing on preparation, including agenda setting and message development to determine what to say and how to say it. The program provides effective interview delivery and control techniques, a series of do's and don'ts, and recommendations on how to enhance a spokesperson's presence. The program includes videotaped role-playing to spotlight great performances, as well as to identify ways to make spokespersons' interviews more effective. Throughout the session, practical examples demonstrate how to build media relationships while managing the media.
